Ontario Construction Users Council
Roger is a member of the OCUC.
The Council goal is to provide a forum for the exchange of safety and health information, construction best practices, emerging practices and technology, and promotion of ideas to improve customer services. Roger participates in regularly scheduled General Council meetings where information is shared and focused on important current issues and solutions where he provides input as a subject matter expert.
Infrastructure Health and Safety Association
Roger is an Associate Auditor for the COR (Certificate of Recognition) solely offered by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association in Ontario. Roger is listed here.
The Certificate of Recognition program (CORTM) is an occupational health and safety accreditation program that verifies a fully implemented safety & health program which meets national standards. CORTM is now frequently used as a pre-qualifying and/or condition of contract by public and private project owners across Canada.
CORTM is nationally trademarked and endorsed by participating members of the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations (CFCSA). More information can be obtained from the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations (CFCSA).
AECO Innovation Lab: Board of Experts
Roger Belair is currently a member of the Board of Experts of AECO Innovation Labs.
The Board of Experts (BoE) can help shape an organization’s digital landscape by driving technology breakthroughs to assist any organization become more efficient. The BoE is involved with early-stage start-ups, mentor the development of new solutions, and commercialize emerging technologies. As a member of Board of Advisors, Roger also helps shape the overall vision to help achieve the broad-ranging mission and goals.
